PURPOSE: A method for reducing a small-device battery using a display and a device using the same are provided not to supply a screen display with a simple touch if a screen display is not necessary, thereby reducing the small-device battery. CONSTITUTION: Identified contents are interactive contents or system contents including a menu, a control unit continuously displays a display. If the identified contents only reproduce the voice, the control unit immediately enters into a screen protection mode. If the identified contents reproduce an image and voice, the control unit detects a screen protection mode entry signal. If the screen protection mode entry signal is inputted, the control unit enters to the screen protection mode. |
