PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to improve display quality by preventing the change of a color and the distortion of an image. CONSTITUTION: A first display plate(100) includes a plurality of pixel electrodes. A second display plate(200) is faced with the first display plate. A liquid crystal layer(3) is interposed between the first and second display plates. A second display plate is comprised of a luminous body, an insulation layer, a polarizing layer, and common electrode.
