There is provided a manufacturing method for a nonaqueous pigment dispersion liquid, the nonaqueous pigment dispersion liquid containing at least pigment, dispersant, and polymerizable compound, the method including finely dispersing the nonaqueous pigment dispersion liquid using beads having a diameter of from 0.01 mm to less than 0.3 mm, and an ink composition comprising the nonaqueous pigment dispersion liquid, a polymerizable compound, and a photopolymerization initiator. There is also provided an ink jet recording composition, an image forming method, and a recorded material.
