TABLET COMPRISING HIGH-CONTENT POWDER OF RED GINSENG EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A tablet containing red ginseng of high content is provided to formulate red ginseng to tablet without additive of excipient and to ensure long term storage. CONSTITUTION: A tablet contains 60-99 weight% of red ginseng as an active ingredient and 1-40 weight% of mixture of sugar fatty acid ester and glycerin fatty acid ester as an absorption preventing agent. The weight ratio of the glycerin fatty acid ester and sugar fatty acid ester is 1:0.1-30. The sugar fatty acid ester is sugar monostearic acid ester, sugar monoleic acid ester, sugar monopalmitate ester, sugar monomyristate ester, or mixture thereof. The glycerin fatty acid ester has 3-5 HLB value.
