FLOW VELOCITY RESTORATION STRUCTURE OF COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A flow-speed recovery structure of a centrifugal compressor is provided to maintain the performance of a volute chamber by recovering the flow speed of refrigerant closely to the flow speed used for the design of the volute chamber. CONSTITUTION: A flow-speed recovery structure of a centrifugal compressor comprises a first recovery section and an inclined surface(30). In the first recovery section, the rear end of a diffuser is set as a start point and the connecting fluid path spaced toward the volute chamber(18) from the start point is set as an end point. The inclined surface reduces the shearing area of the connecting fluid path from the start point to the end point of the first recovery section. The inclined surface has a tilt angle on the inner surface of the connecting fluid path. A second recovery section is formed on the connecting fluid path between the first recovery section and the volute chamber. The second recovery section reduces the shearing area of the connecting fluid path from the start point to the end point.
