PURPOSE: A recombinant ralstonia eutropha is provided to obtain polylactate polymer or copolymer at high concentration by culturing. CONSTITUTION: A recombinant ralstonic eutropha is prepared by removing polyhydroxyalkanoate(PHA) biosynthesis gene operon and introducing lactate. A pct gene is derived from Clostridium propionicum. A method for preparing polylactate or hydroxyalkanoate-lactate copolymer comprises: a step of culturing the recombinant ralstonia eutropha in a medium containing carbon source and lactate; carbon source, lactate and hydroxyalkanoate; and a step of collecting polylacatee or hydroxyalkanoate-lactate copolymer.
