The device has a traction chain supervisor (10) for determining and storing data representative of path of a vehicle e.g. plug-in-hybrid vehicle (VH,) and electrical energy consumption to generate utilization profiles of the vehicle. A calculation unit determines a value of charge rate that satisfies the energy needs to ensure autonomy of the vehicle, after charging a storage source. A battery management system (11) controls a configuration socket (18) and a charger (19), where the socket and the charger connects a domestic network for charging the source until a value of preset charge state. An independent claim is also included for a method for managing a charge state of an electrochemical storage source in a vehicle. |
