RESIN COMPOSITION FOR HIGHLY HEAT-RESISTANT, HIGHLY FLAME-RETARDANT, AND HALOGEN-FREE HEAT-SHRINK TUB

PURPOSE: A halogen-free heat-shrink tube composition is provided to secure the dispersibility and printability, and to produce an environment-friendly heat shrinkable tube without using a flame retardant including halogen group materials. CONSTITUTION: A halogen-free heat-shrink tube composition contains the following: 100 parts of base resin by weight including 70~99wt% of ethylene vinylacetate copolymer resin, and 1~30wt% of ethylene vinylacetate copolymer resin with a maleic anhydride; 50~150 parts of surface-treated metal hydroxide by weight; and 5~15 parts of flame-retarding aid by weight. The metal hydroxide is magnesium hydroxide.
