PURPOSE: A complex function hydrogen separation film, a hydrogen production system thereof, and a method thereof are provided to improve hydrogen production efficiency and conduct oxygen with the transmission of hydrogen. CONSTITUTION: A complex function hydrogen separation film(110) includes oxygen ion conduction ceramics and hydrogen permeation metal. A metal phase(114) and ceramic phase(112) are compatible with. The oxygen ion conduction ceramics is one among YSZ, Gd-doped ceria, and doped-LaGaO3. The hydrogen permeation metal is one among Pd, Pd-Ag, Pd-Cu, Nb, Zr, Ta, and V. The complex function hydrogen separation film contains at least 40vol% of the oxygen ion conduction ceramics or the hydrogen permeation metal. The phase is connected from one side surface of the complex function hydrogen separation film to the other side surface.
