PURPOSE: A web acceleration system for providing a web service to an embedded device is provided to convert an image file for a web service into base 64 format and insert the image file into an HTML conversion source file to transmit the HTML conversion source file to the embedded device, thereby reducing a connection number between an embedded system and a server for downloading the image file. CONSTITUTION: A proxy server(20) receives web service files for a web service corresponding to a web service request signal of an embedded device(10) from an HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol) server(30). A web acceleration server(40) generates an HTML conversion source file by processing of the web service files. The web acceleration server encodes an image file into base 64 format. The web acceleration server inserts the encoded image file into the HTML conversion source file.
