<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a television program broadcasted by terrestrial digital broadcasting preferentially rather than a television program simultaneously retransmitted by BS digital broadcasting in the case where the simultaneous retransmission of terrestrial digital broadcasting is performed by BS digital broadcasting. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where "auto" 61 is selected on a reception setting screen of terrestrial retransmission, only when terrestrial digital broadcasting can not be received, a channel of BS digital broadcasting, on which simultaneous retransmission of terrestrial digital broadcasting is performed, is displayed (presented to a user as a receiving target). Specifically, a display flag in a tuning DB for BS digital broadcasting of the relevant channel is set at TRUE.
