<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the picture quality of a color image when a subject is dark. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an imaging unit 15 which receives color light and interpolation light containing at least part of a wavelength range of the color light for interpolating the brightness of the color light, and converts the received color light and correction light into signals, respectively; a control unit 16 which individually controls a first exposure time by the color light and second exposure light by the interpolation light according to the brightness of an object that the imaging unit images; and an image generation unit 16 which generates an image on the basis of a color signal that the imaging unit outputs when receiving the color light at the first exposure time controlled by the control unit and an interpolation signal that the imaging unit outputs when receiving the interpolation light at the second exposure time controlled by the control unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
