<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device capable of reducing light loss through a terminal area. <P>SOLUTION: This is an optical device which is equipped with a light separator, a power monitor, a first and a second optical transmitter consisting of a first and a second optical fiber, a first part of an optical connector which, while connecting with the optical separator optically by the first optical transmitter, coupled optically to a first output section of the optical separator by the second optical transmitter, and an housing containing the optical separator and the power monitor. In the optical device, the first section is composed to coupled couplably to a second part of the optical connector so as to connect the first and the second optical transmitter with a third and a fourth optical transmitter, and the fourth optical transmitter consists of the fourth optical fiber of multimode with larger diameter than the second optical fiber and more inductive mode so as to align the second optical fiber and the fourth optical fiber easily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
