<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anemometer that can be used outdoors, has no directivity, is small, is easily used, and measures the wind speed up to about 30 m/second. <P>SOLUTION: In this anemometer, a slightly thin cylindrical inner cylinder of a height of about 5 cm where the top and bottom are not closed is coaxially inserted into a cylindrical outer cylinder of an outer diameter of about 2 cm and a height of about 5 cm where the top is closed and there is no bottom. The top of the inner cylinder is made slightly lower than the inside of the top of the outer cylinder while a clearance of about 1 mm is formed, the lower end of the inner cylinder is made lower than the lower end of the outer cylinder by about 2 mm, a uniform interval of 0.5 mm is formed between the inner surface of the outer cylinder and the outer surface of the inner cylinder. An air flow detector where a heating element and a temperature sensor are integrated is installed inside the outer cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
