PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretching implement of a sheet-like material which enables the stretch of the whole of the material at a few adjusting spots with a uniform tension. SOLUTION: The stretching implement includes four L-shaped corner members which are disposed at the four corners of a square, four frame materials each of which is supported by the corner members at the opposite ends and installed between two adjacent ones of the corner members and which can be moved in the directions of the adjacent corner members between these members, together with the two adjacent corner members supporting them at the opposite ends, in the direction of approaching the opposite frame materials or separating therefrom in the relation with the opposite frame materials, and four rods which are disposed respectively between the two adjacent corner members, passed through the frame material, wherein each frame material or corner member includes a fixing part whereon the peripheral edge of the sheet-like material is fixed.
