<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high load transmission belt, capable of preventing wear of a center belt, even when friction occurs with a block during traveling of the belt, to reduce failure such as cutting of the belt, and further capable of minimizing heat generation to prevent deterioration in a resin material constituting the block. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The high load transmission belt 1 includes the center belt 3 including a core body 5 embedded in an elastomer 4 and recessed parts 15 and 16 disposed at a predetermined pitch along the longitudinal direction; and the block 2 having projection parts 17 and 18 to be engaged with the recessed parts 15 and 16 of the center belt 1.
