<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil antenna which is highly reliable without disconnection regardless of a structure covered with resin, and also to provide a manufacturing method thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil antenna 1 is provided with: a core 2; external terminals 3-1 and 3-2; a coil 4; and resin 5. The external terminals 3-1 and 3-2 comprise a coil connection part 31 and a land mounting part 32, and entwining parts 33 and 34 are located in a point symmetry with respect to the center point of the core 2. The coil 4 is composed of a winding 40 and leading lines 41 and 42, and the leading lines 41 and 42 are extracted from a winding center 20 with the slack and are electrically connected to the entwining parts 33 and 34. The resin 5 covers the core 2, coil connection parts 31 and 31 and the coil 4 while exposing the land mounting part 32 of the external terminals 3-1 and 3-2. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
