<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detector capable of precisely performing the correction of sensitivity by a simple method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the gas detector equipped with an alcohol sensor 24A having sensitivity to the ethanol concentration and humidity in a detection target gas and a humidity sensor 24B having sensitivity to the humidity of the detection target gas, the value obtained by subjecting the detection value of the alcohol sensor 24A to logarithmic conversion is expressed by the concentration of ethanol, the concentration of steam showing humidity, and a constant. The value of a humidity effect component calculated on the basis of the detection value of the humidity sensor 24B is subtracted from the detection value of the alcohol sensor 24A at the time when exhalation is not blown against the alcohol sensor 24A to calculate a base value. In a case that the base value is smaller than a predetermined value, the value, which is calculated by substracting the value related to the quantitative limit concentration of the alcohol sensor 24A from the base value is updated as a new constant (c).
