PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of improving the performance of object generation, and the information processing method of the information processing apparatus. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a generating means for generating an object having a duplicate function for generating a clone being the duplicate of the object itself on the basis of schema information for defining the structure of the object; a receiving means for receiving a request for generating an object; a requesting means for requesting the object to generate a clone when it is determined that the duplicate function of the object which receives the generation request is usable; and an outputting means for outputting the clone generated by the object to an object generation request source.
