<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large display plate of an LED end surface placement type, wherein luminance of a display surface is uniform and a width is equal to or larger than a processing ability width of a laser device, and to provide a thin and long illumination tool with similar configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The LED type large display plate is obtained by a wide and large combined waveguide equal twice as large or larger than a width obtained by connecting two or more rectangular light guide plates in the width direction, having reflective patterns imprinted and processed to a maximum processing ability width, LEDs are disposed in both long side end surfaces of the rectangular waveguides and the end surface of the connected part, in other words a LED is also disposed in the middle part of the combined waveguide, the position and the shape of each imprinted reflective pattern of the two stacked light guide plates are adjusted, and luminance of the large display plate is made uniform. For the thin and long illumination tool, a combined waveguide body formed by dividing the combined waveguide thin and long is used, and its luminance is made uniform by the LED disposed in the middle part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
