<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion device having reliability for a long period of time in sealing, wherein the device is simply produced and is excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device includes: a photoelectric conversion cell having a first electrode 3 on one side of a photoelectric conversion body 4 and a second electrode 6 on the other side; a first barrier film 12 formed on one side of the photoelectric conversion cell and having a shape larger than that of the photoelectric conversion cell in plan view; and a second barrier film 13 formed on the other side of the photoelectric conversion cell and having a shape larger than that of the photoelectric conversion cell in plan view.
