<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and economically removing a foreign material from a polyester fiber product containing the foreign material such as a dye. <P>SOLUTION: The method for removing the foreign material from poly(alkylene terephthalate)-containing fiber by using a treating tank and a solvent is provided. In the treating tank, the fiber is charged while being burdened with a load so as to have bulk density of 0.20 to 0.50 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, then the solvent is circulated through the charged fiber burdened with the load to continuously bring the fiber into contact with the solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
