<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of high resolving power using a light source having no expanse of a spectrum even if high speed scanning is performed in a narrow band in an optical tomographic image display system. <P>SOLUTION: A gain element 40 and a wavelength variable filter 50 are used as a wavelength scanning type light source 10. The natural emission light of the gain element 40 is projected on the wavelength variable filter 50 to oscillate it by a selected wavelength. The optical tomographic image display system is constituted using this wavelength scanning type light source 10. The enhancement of the resolving power of the optical tomographic image display system is achieved by scanning the selected wavelength of the wavelength variable filter 50 at a high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
