PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase volume efficiency by reducing the suction of air into a pump chamber of an internal gear pump. SOLUTION: In the internal gear pump, a rotor chamber 6 disposed at a pump case 5 houses a rotor 4 for a pump constituted by eccentrically arranging an inner rotor 2 and an outer rotor 3 and combining them. A radius R of a small-diameter part 7a of a suction port 7 formed at a side face of the rotor chamber 6 is set to be larger than a radius R<SB>B</SB>i of a gear root circle of an inner rotor from the middle in a rotor rotational direction of the suction port, so that a seal area of a side seal part is enlarged.
