<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circuit scale of an image processing device for applying a plurality of kinds of image processing using different sizes of image data. Ž<P>SOLUTION: For the output of image data to a spatial filtering part 17, shift registers SRn0-SRn6 and all the flip-flops of the shift registers are selected, and pixel data are extracted from image data input into each selected flip-flop and image data output from the last flip-flop of each selected shift register. For dilation, the shift registers SRn0-SRn2 are selected and the first three stages of flip-flops of the selected shift registers SRn0-SRn2 are selected, and pixel data are extracted from image data input into each selected flip-flop and image data output from the third flip-flop of each shift register SRn0-SRn2.
