<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure of high maintenance performance by reducing the number of components, for a fan filter unit mainly used in a clean room. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This fan filter unit has a structure provided with a top panel 6 to which a fan unit 5 composed of an intake 1, a fan 2, a motor 3 and a motor support 4 is joined, a chamber 7 in which the fan unit 4 is incorporated, a dust removing filter 8 disposed at a downstream side of the chamber, and an elastic packing 9 inserted between the dust removing filter 8 and the chamber 7, thus the number of components can be reduced, and the maintenance performance and air-tight performance can be improved with the simple structure.
