<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge joint capable of increasing durability of a bridge body to obtain an economic effect, since an impact onto a passing vehicle caused by unevenness of a temperature contraction width of a bridge joint part is eliminated to operate smoothly the vehicle, in the bridge joint part from a short span bridge to a long span bridge, and since an impact force by the vehicle is substantially eliminated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The temperature contraction width 1 of the bridge joint part is cleared by layering a bridge abutment side fixed high-tensile steel sheet 4, a superstructure work side fixed high-tensile steel sheet 5, a free high-tensile steel sheet 3, and an upper high-tensile steel sheet 6, and arranging planarly movably each other between a bridge abutment 7 and a superstructure work 15, and by arranging an asphalt continuous pavement 10 on an upper face of the upper high-tensile steel sheet 6.
