A method in a presence server (211) of providing presence information associated with a Presentityto a Watcher (111), having a Watcher Client (112), comprising an XDM Client. The Presence Server receives a request from the XDM client and identifies the Watcheron the basis of content of the request. On the basis of the request and the identity of the Watcher, the Presence Server generates (3:3,3:4,3:5) a document from presence information that has previously been defined as an XCAP application usage and stored at the presence server. The document is then forwarded (3:6) to the Watcher.
