摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift control device assuring a smooth operation of a forward-reverse changeover mechanism and its protection when a shift change is made from the reverse running range into the forward running range on a road surface with small friction factor. SOLUTION: If after a slip condition of a driving wheel is sensed during the reverse range, a shift is made from the reverse range into the D-range, the liquid pressure supplied to a hydraulic servo of a chamfer mechanism is increased by an addition value QINGICE from the standard liquid pressure in order to couple the first speed range driven gear with a counter shaft, and also the timing to supply the liquid pressure to a liquid pressure servo is made earlier forΔT. Even if an eventually small friction factor of the road surface makes earlier the timing at which the chamfer mechanism differential rotation nullifies after a shift change into D-range takes place, it is possible to actuate the chamfer mechanism at an early stage complying with the differential rotation nullifying timing which is made earlier, that enables smooth establishment of the first speed range and enhancement of the durability of the chamfer mechanism.
