PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly generate thermal deformation, regardless of the crystal structure specific to a molybdenum wire, thermal history or processing history, when a halogen-proof intermediate material formed by tightly winding a molybdenum wire around a molybdenum rod and a conductive cermet are carried out at butt welding. Ž
SOLUTION: Before carrying out butt welding of a halogen-proof intermediate material (5) and a conductive cermet (6), a molybdenum rod (5a) and a molybdenum wire (5b) are melted by a piece end part (5d) of the halogen-proof intermediate material (5). After the molybdenum rod (5a) and the molybdenum wire (5b) are hardened with their tip formed into a round shape and are integrated with one another by the surface tension force of the melt, the piece end part (5d) of the halogen-proof intermediate material (5) and the conductive cermet (6) are abutted against at butt welding.
