PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating cord cutter which is easily in installation and replacement of resin cords, can surely perform mowing and suppress partial wear of the resin cords, has a simple structure, is easy in handling and maintenance, wastes no resin cord and is economical. SOLUTION: The cord cutter comprises a cutter substrate A driving and rotating, and plural resin cords B, wherein, a curved planer protrusion 4, whose almost width-directionally near-peripheral part is the lowest point P positioned lowest, is peripherally set annularly on the under surface of the cutter substrate A, plural pairs of cord attaching parts are formed on the inner periphery brim part of the protrusion 4, the cord attaching parts are formed with cord inserting holes 2 vertically passing through the cutter substrate A, the resin cords B inserted to the cord inserting holes 2 are attached to protrude the tip end part outside the outer periphery rim of the cutter substrate A and constituted to contact and press the surface of the protrusion 4 by utilizing centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the cutter substrate A.
