PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize a second hand supporting structure, and to reduce a manufacturing cost of a second hand shaft. SOLUTION: In the second hand supporting structure, the metal second hand shaft 321 is coupled to a resin second hand wheel 324, and the metal second hand shaft 321 inserted into a minute hand pipe 322. The second hand shaft 321 is a component formed by a lathe turning process of a cylindrical raw material. The second hand wheel 324 is provided with a boss 324a having a hole into which the base end 321b of the second hand shaft 321 is inserted. The minute hand pipe 322 has a rib slide section 322b slid with a tip 321c of the second hand shaft 321. Since a first step 321d at the border between an intermediate section and the base end abuts on an end face of the boss 324a, the second hand shaft 321 is positioned relative to the second hand wheel 324. When the base end is deviated from the hole, a second step 321e at the border between the intermediate section and the tip abuts on the slide section 322b, and the second hand shaft 321 is retained. The total length L1 of the second hand shaft 321 and the length L2 of the intermediate section are configured so as to have a relationship of (1/3)L1≤L2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
