PURPOSE: A Bacillus polyfermenticus isolated form brick of dried fermented soybeans and an antifungal composition containing the same are provided to ensure antifungal activity and to use as probiotics. CONSTITUTION: A Bacillus polyfermenticus CJ6 strain(KCTC 18149P) has antifungal activity and gram positive and gram negative activities to fungi and candida sp. yeast. A antifungal composition contains Bacillus polyfermenticus CJ6 strain(KCTC 18149P) or Bacillus polyfermenticus CJ9 strain(KCTC 18151P), strain culture, culture concentrate or dried product of the culture as an active ingredient. The antifungal composition contains the composition for treating and preventing female urological infection or tinea unguium. Probiotics contains the Bacillus polyfermenticus CJ6 strain(KCTC 18149P) or Bacillus polyfermenticus CJ9 strain(KCTC 18151P), strain culture, culture concentrate, or dried culture as an active ingredient.
