<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system, and a radio relay device and method, for performing relay processing between radio networks while reducing an interference in the situation where leakage electric power due to proximity of antennas corresponding to the respective radio networks causes the interference. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication period of one radio network, a radio terminal subordinate to the other radio network is inhibited from performing transmission to avoid an interference between the radio networks. The radio relay device has a scheduler for controlling transmission and reception timing of a second radio network in synchronism with transmission and reception timing of a first radio network, and the scheduler is configured to acquire a communication period and a sleep period of the first radio network, and to set the communication period of the first radio network as a communication inhibition period of the second radio network. A second radio network control unit is configured to transmit a control signal reporting the communication inhibition period to a radio terminal, which is configured to stop transmission in the communication inhibition period reported with the control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
