<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp unit capable of a suitable temperature controlling of an arc tube. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp unit 2 is provided with an arc tube 11 having a light emitting portion for emitting light, a sub mirror 13 for reflecting light emitted from the light emitting portion, a main mirror 12 for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting portion and the light reflected from the sub mirror, and a nozzle 14 in which air is passed and which is connected with the sub mirror so that the air between the sub mirror and the light emitting portion may be flowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
