摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a series hybrid car, giving a natural driving feeling to a driver who is familiar with a vehicle having an engine and a transmission while securing power generating performance. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for a series hybrid car is configured to drive a driving wheel 6 by a driving motor 3, and to charge a high voltage battery 4 by a power generation motor 2 to be driven by an engine 1, and to integrally control engine torque Te, generator RPM Ng, and driving motor torque Tm. The series hybrid car is provided with: a target power generation output arithmetic means 21 for calculating a target power generation output P<SP>*</SP>on the basis of a battery SOC; a pseudo-shift arithmetic means 22 for determining a target engine RPM Ne<SP>*</SP>simulating a transmission on the basis of manipulated variables showing the acceleration/deceleration intention of a driver; an engine torque control means 24 for controlling engine torque Te on the basis of target engine torque Te<SP>*</SP>calculated by dividing the target power generation output P<SP>*</SP>by the target engine RPM Ne<SP>*</SP>: and a generator RPM control means 25 for controlling the generator RPM Ng on the basis of the target engine RPM Ne<SP>*</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
