<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm reduction gear which hardly causes change in load characteristic or deterioration of durability of an elastic body resulting from change in outer diameter of an elastic body part, while improving integral moldability by dispensing with a worm-side disk of the elastic body. <P>SOLUTION: The elastic body 5 includes a cylindrical elastic body part 5a formed of an elastic material, and a disk 5b fixed to a bearing 4 side of the elastic body part 5b and contacting with an inner ring of the bearing 4. The elastic body 5a and an elastic body receiving part 6 that is a part contacting with the elastic body part 5a of a worm are formed such that the radially outward deformation of the elastic body part 5a by mutual contact pressing is constrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
