摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an information processing apparatus in which the mounting strength and impact resistivity of a slot unit are enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The neighborhood of an opening 41 of a slot unit 4 is fixed to a substrate 11 by a bonding member 50 so that even if a notebook computer drops to a floor, and any impact is added to the inserting/extracting direction (arrow C and D directions) of a PCMCIA card to the slot unit 4, the neighborhood of the opening 41a of the slot unit 4 can be prevented from being remarkably displaced. Therefore, the slot unit 4 can be hardly brought into contact with the other components in a first casing 1, and metallic components configuring the slot unit 4 can be prevented from breaking away from the slot unit 4, or the metallic thin film of the metallic plated section can be prevented from being peeled.
