PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition in which a synthetic resin is made flame-retardant or nonflammable and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant or nonflammable resin composition is produced by mixing a synthetic resin with a flame-retardant or nonflammable powder and curing the resin. The flame-retardant or nonflammable resin composition and the method for producing the same are provided.
