PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature estimation method of a fuse capable of simulating temperature rise of the actual fuse based on a current value flowing in an electric wire. SOLUTION: This temperature estimation method of the fuse is provided with a fuse element He fused at a prescribed temperature and a fuse frame to connect the fuse element He and the electric wire. The temperature of the fuse is calculated by adding: a temperature of the periphery of the fuse; a contribution to temperature rise calculated based on a heating value Q<SB>0</SB>generated by a current flowing in the fuse element He, a thermal resistance Ref from the fuse element He to the fuse frame, and a time constant concerning temperature rise obtained by multiplying the thermal resistance Ref by a thermal capacity Ce of the fuse element He; and a contribution to temperature rise calculated based on the heating value Q<SB>0</SB>, a synthesized thermal resistance Rf from the fuse frame to the electric wire and external air, and a time constant concerning temperature rise obtained by multiplying the synthesized resistance Rf by a synthesized thermal capacity Cf of the fuse frame, the electric wire and the external air.
