PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is suitable for an imaging apparatus with a drip-proof structure. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a body to capture an image, and a lighting portion to light a subject to be imaged by the body. The lighting portion has: legs which are pivotally supported by the body at one end of each leg and move between a storage position close to the body and a rising position rising from the body; a flashing light source which is supported by the other end of each leg and separates from the body when the legs are at the rising position; sound collecting holes which are formed at the legs, opened downward when the legs are at the storage position and open in a horizontal direction when the legs are raised; and microphones which are stored inside the legs to convert sound received from the sound collecting holes into an electric signal.
