<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which can spray mist and a liquid formulation simultaneously or sequentially and can spray the liquid formulation stably. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mist generator has a mist generating part 24 generating mist M1 from water W of a water tank 22, and a mist discharge mouth 26 to discharge the generated mist M1, and further, has a liquid formulation spray mechanism 13 spraying the liquid formulation M2 from an end opening 31a of a spray nozzle 31. Furthermore, the generator has a mist branching passage 42 branching from a mist transfer channel 25 between the mist generating part 24 and the mist discharge mouth 26, and a cleaning mechanism 41 cleaning the spray nozzle 31 with the mist M1 discharged via the mist branching passage 42.
