<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a report apparatus automatically switchable to use a handsfree function without picking up a receiver of the report apparatus or the like on a return call. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The report apparatus is provided with a function capable of disconnecting a usually used telephone set or the like from a telephone line during the ringing of the usually used telephone set or the like for 15 seconds by the return call, then shifting to a handsfree state and making handsfree speech communication possible.
