<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make costs lower by securing an installation space when a pressure-intensifying water supply system for each story zone is installed in a mid-to-high-rise building. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After pressure-resistant measures are taken for the casing, shaft seal portion, etc. of a pressure-intensifying pump of the pressure-intensifying water supply system for each of medium-rise and high-rise zones, the pressure-intensifying water supply systems for the low-rise, medium-rise and high-rise zones are each installed on the floor of the low-rise zone. Otherwise, the pressure-intensifying water supply systems for the low-rise and medium-rise zones are each installed on the same floor of the low-rise zone; and the pressure-intensifying water supply system for the high-rise zone is installed on the floor of the medium-rise zone.
