PURPOSE: A system for managing cable tunnels is provided to reduce the number of persons for managing the cable tunnels by controlling the situation of the cable tunnels. CONSTITUTION: A system for managing cable tunnels includes a central monitoring controller(11), an optical hub(21), a data collector(22), and an auxiliary device(32-40). The auxiliary device monitors and controls the state of the cable tunnels. The auxiliary device is composed of an active device to directly control the state of the cable tunnel and a sensor for monitoring the state of the cable tunnel. The auxiliary device is connected to the data collector. The sensor transmits the measured information to the central monitoring controller through the data collector. The active device maintains the environment of the cable tunnel by the control of the central monitoring controller, the control of the data collector, or the sensed information of the sensor. |
