<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively diagnose a relay function of a gateway device. <P>SOLUTION: A conversion portion 3 converts communication data inputted from a bus line A in conformity with a communication protocol of a bus line B, and outputs the converted communication data to the bus line B through an interface portion 2b. A feedback portion 4 feeds back and outputs the communication data converted by a conversion portion 4 to the bus line A. By such an arrangement, the communication data before conversion by a gateway device 1 and communication data after conversion are analyzed by a single analyzer 20 connected to the bus line A.
