<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge head which inexpensively achieves a function equal to the one including both a read-only nonvolatile memory and a rewritable nonvolatile memory, and which compatibly achieves protection of basic data that need not be rewritten and a function to write data. <P>SOLUTION: The droplet discharge head includes circuit boards each mounted with the nonvolatile memories 105 and 108 configured in a data-rewritable manner and are used to store written data even when power is turned off. The nonvolatile memories 105 and 108 have a write-protect function.
