PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively make geometric corrections such as a distortion aberration correction and a chromatic aberration of magnification. SOLUTION: An embodiment of an image processing program includes: a computer readable image processing program which includes: an input procedure (S101) for inputting an image of a subject formed by a photography optical system; a processing procedure (S108) for making geometric corrections for reducing an influence caused by aberrations of the photography optical system on the image input through the input procedure; and a control procedure (S106) for controlling whether the geometric correction processing (S108) is executed according to the amount of longitudinal and lateral high spatial frequency components included in a peripheral part of the image to be subjected to the geometric correction processing.
