PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly structure of reinforcing bars and a method of assembly thereof wherein a plurality of main reinforcing bars used for a foundation pile of a cast-in-place concrete are assembled into a cylindrical shape without welding. SOLUTION: The assembly structure comprises a plurality of reinforcing-bar holders 1 for holding the plurality of the main reinforcing bars 2 diametrically in the cylindrical shape at predetermined intervals and a plurality of U-bolts 3 and fixing nuts 4 for fixing the plurality of the main reinforcing-bars 2 to the reinforcing-bar holders 1. The reinforcing-bar holder 1 has an H-shaped steel formed in a circular ring-shape centering an axis parallel to the axis right angle to its axis, while forming a plurality of bolt holes 7, 7 on its side. The U-bolts 3 are wound over the side parts of the main reinforcing bars 2, respectively, and male screw parts 3a, 3a are inserted into the bolt holes 7, 7.
