PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately bring a shielding body into focus even when the shielding body is in a standstill state. SOLUTION: Distance information to an object is obtained based on a plurality of image data photographed from a plurality of viewing point positions different from each other. Based on the distance information and threshold information of a distance range where a noticeable object that shields a main object is assumed to exist, a first area where the noticeable object exists and a second area where the noticeable object does not exist in each of the plurality of image data are respectively detected.
